Biographical Sketch of Toni Dauwalter Toni Dauwalter, PT is a renowned expert in the treatment of runners and running injuries. She has been an integral part of specialty running injury programs designed to help runners of all levels achieve their running goals through injury prevention, biomechanical gait analysis and treatment of running injuries. She is currently a provider for Team USA Minnesota, a professional training center for elite runners.
Prior to joining Accelerated Sports Therapy & Fitness, Toni worked with Fairview and the Institute for Athletic Medicine. She has been a PT for 27 years.
Toni speaks as a guest lecturer at the College of St. Catherine PT program on running injuries and gait analysis. She is an educator for the Minnesota Sports Medicine PT Sports Residency Program. She lectures regularly at the annual Twin Cities Marathon Sports Medicine Conference. She also has taught at numerous continuing education conferences to health care providers. Furthermore, Toni has participated in published research on hip muscle imbalance and lower extremity injury in runners.
