• The answer is a resounding YES!!. The prescription you received can be accepted by any physical therapy clinic in the state of Minnesota, even if it is made out to a specific clinic!

  • The answer is YES!!  The state of Minnesota has direct access physical therapy which allows you to visit a physical therapist for up to 90 days without seeing a physician.

  • The Initial Evaluation (1st visit) will last approximately 40-60 minutes. The follow-up sessions generally run 30-60 minutes.

  • We accept most major insurances. We always recommend reaching out to your insurance company to verify in or out of network coverage.

  • Each visit will vary based on the exact treatment needed.

    • Our average charge for the initial evaluation that we bill to insurance is between $300 - $400.

    • Our average charge for follow-up visits that we bill to insurance ranges from $150 - $250.

    • If you choose to cash/self pay our rate is $150 for an initial evaluation and $125 for follow-up visits.

  • Accelerated Sports Therapy & Fitness believes that each of your scheduled physical therapy appointments are very important for your recovery. If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, that time may be utilized by another patient in need of treatment who could potentially fill the time slot. We believe that missed appointments hinder our ability to provide the best care possible to our patients. Due to this belief, AST&F has the following cancellation policy:

    Your scheduled appointment is reserved for you. If you are unable to keep your appointment, you must cancel at least 24 hours in advance so that we may reassign the time to another patient.

    If you have 3 consecutive late cancels/no-shows, or 5 late cancels/no-shows in total, all future appointments will be canceled, and you will be moved to same day scheduling. This will require you to call on the day you wish to attend physical therapy to schedule your appointment. This is to ensure optimal scheduling availability for all patients.

  • The number and frequency of visits will be determined by you and your physical therapist after your initial evaluation.

  • No, but some insurance plans do require a referral from your doctor. We recommend that you call the customer service number on the back of your insurance card and ask that specific question prior to your appointment with us.
