Mike Muffenbier

Mike Muffenbier, co-owner of Accelerated Sports Therapy & Fitness, is a board-certified sports physical therapist with an extensive background in clinical leadership and education. He previously served as the Clinic Supervisor for Minnesota Sports Medicine and directed a Sports Residency Program that became one of the first five in the nation to be APTA-credentialed. A respected voice in the field, Mike has lectured to over 1,000 healthcare professionals and co-authored book chapters on youth shoulder injuries and strength training for seniors.

Betsy Walts

Betsy Walts is a board-certified Physical Therapist at Accelerated Sports Physical Therapy and Fitness specializing in orthopedics and pelvic health for all genders. Betsy served as a clinical supervisor and the director of Minnesota’s first Women’s Health Physical Therapy Residency Program from 2019 to 2024. She currently teaches pelvic and pregnancy musculoskeletal content at the University of Minnesota’s DPT program and is also involved in professional organizations that promote research and evidence-based practice in pelvic health.
